वोट के लिए प्रचार करने बंगाल पहुंचे मोदी! कूचबिहार की बैठक की शुरुआत में मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी को धन्यवाद दिया गया! उन्होंने कहा, '2019 में मैं इस मैदान में बैठक करने आया था, उन्होंने बीच में मंच बनाकर मैदान को छोटा कर दिया था. उस दिन मैंने कहा- दीदी आपने अच्छा नहीं किया. भीड़ आपको जवाब देगी. आपने उत्तर दे दिया है. आज उसने ऐसा कुछ नहीं किया. मैदान खुला है. तुम्हें देखकर मैं भाग्यशाली हो गया, मेरा जीवन धन्य हो गया।'
माथाभांगा में मुख्यमंत्री की बैठक खत्म हो गयी. मोदी ने कूचबिहार के रास मेला मैदान में मंच संभाला. आज गुरुवार को मोदी ने बीजेपी उम्मीदवार निशीथ प्रमाणक के साथ बंगाल में चुनाव प्रचार की शुरुआत की.
मोदी ने बांग्ला में कूचबिहार के लोगों को सलाम किया. कहा, 'मां-बहन-बेटी आशीर्वाद देने आई हैं। पूरा देश कह रहा है धन्यवाद आपका, फिर एक बार मोदी सरकार। दिल्ली को मजबूत सरकार चाहिए, कमजोर नहीं। दुनिया कहते हैं, मोदी एक मजबूत नेता हैं। एक ऐसा नेता जो कड़े फैसले लेता है. लेकिन मैं कहना चाहता हूं कि देश की भलाई के लिए मोदी को कड़ा फैसला लेना होगा।'
मोदी का आगे कहना है, 'याद रखिए, ये देश की सरकार बनाने का चुनाव है। मजबूत सरकारों द्वारा चुनाव कराए जाते हैं। इस 21वीं सदी में, एक विकसित देश बनाने का समय आ गया है। अगर भारत विकास करेगा तो सबसे ज्यादा फायदा बंगाल को होगा.' संदेश के साथ, 'तृणमूल आपको धमकायेगी, डरायेगी. डरो मत, मोदी सरकार है। यह सरकार लुटेरों को बचाने में लगी है. दिन रात मोदी को गाली दी जा रही है. मैं कहता हूं भ्रष्टाचार हटाओ, वे कहते हैं भ्रष्टाचारी बचाओ। इस बार चुनाव में तृणमूल को जवाब देना होगा.'
